Abstract

This study examines the role of Industry 4.0 Big Data Analytics (BDA) in promoting corporate sustainability among SMEs, particularly in emerging markets. Using the PRISMA 2020 framework, this systematic literature review analyzes the effects of Big Data (BD) on business and economic outcomes and its contribution to sustainability in Industry 4.0-enabled SMEs, especially in manufacturing. The findings indicate that BD adoption improves operational efficiency and revenue generation while supporting quality control, predictive maintenance, and manufacturing process optimization. These findings provide an integrated perspective on BD’s contribution to SME sustainability and offer practical insights for managers and policymakers in developing effective technology adoption strategies.
